About me
Hey there, My name is Yuliia Kryzhanivska.
I'm your dedicated violin guide with over 25 years of practice and a decade of teaching experience. I've got a Masters degree in Violin from National Music Academy of Ukraine, participated in masterclasses with best violin teachers and International competitions, so you're in good hands!
While I started out as a classical violinist, life's journey led me to various contracts in less formal settings, allowing me to explore genres ranging from classical to rock and more. Through playing the violin, I've had the privilege of visiting over 40 countries. And now, my aim is to pass on the techniques and foundational skills to my students, empowering them to play whatever music they desire.
My main goal is to inspire and support you on your musical journey.

No prior musical experience is required. The beginner course is designed for those new to playing the violin.

You'll need a few essential items to get started with the course: a violin, bow, shoulder rest, rosin, and a tuner/metronome (which can be easily found in the form of apps). Don't worry about the rest – We'll provide downloadable note sheets and additional resources as we progress through the course.

Both renting and purchasing a violin have their own benefits. Investing in a beginner violin enhances learning, but renting offers a 'try before you buy' opportunity, especially for high-quality instruments without the initial cost. The choice is yours, and either way, you're on your way to enjoying the violin!

There are no strict age restrictions for the beginner course. While it's designed with adult students in mind, the curriculum can be easily adapted for children and teenagers with a bit of assistance from parents.
